Halff Hosts Fall Open Houses
Halff’s The Woodlands and Houston offices welcomed clients and colleagues to their open houses. The Woodlands celebrated their new office space with a special ribbon cutting ceremony by The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. Operations Manager Long Nguyen was presented with a certificate from U.S. Congressman Dan Crenshaw. Meanwhile, the Houston office celebrated its 30th anniversary. The Houston office has been improving lives and communities in the Greater Houston area for the past 30 years under Operations Manager Michael Barbier’s leadership.
HCI Updates
HCI donated $1,000 to Hunger Fight which will go toward meals and books. Hunger Fight’s mission is to alleviate childhood hunger and increase literacy rates (food for the bellies, books for the brains). Jacksonville volunteers also packed meals at the Thanksgiving Hunger Fight that will go to kids enrolled in free and reduced breakfast and lunch programs.
Frisco volunteers collected 10 bags of litter from Cottonwood Creek after contacting the Environmental Services and Natural Resources group at the City of Frisco and learning about the significant amount of trash that had accumulated.
Fort Worth volunteers prepared dinner for resident staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
Volunteers from the McAllen office delivered no sew fleece blankets that they made over the summer to the Veterans Facility.
Teaming Together
Employees from The Woodlands office took their third annual fishing trip on Lake Conroe and set a new record for catches!
November was a busy month for fishing, as McAllen employees also took to the waters for their fishing event in South Padre Island.
Tampa’s Planning and Landscape Architecture team put their chef hats on for a Sur la Table cooking class where they made fettuccine, pork chops and cheesecake.
The Fort Worth office took full advantage of the dropping temperature to host their chili cookoff where teams competed for the coveted first place.
Halff Bag Travels
Paris was a popular travel destination for Halff employees as three took their very own trips to the City of Love.
Jessica Baker Daily (left) took in all the sights Paris had to offer on a trip with her mom.
Clay Scott (middle) and his wife traveled to Paris where they made a stop at the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral.
Natalie Mott and her Halff bag snapped photos in front of The Louvre during her trip to Paris.
